If you are not determined to get the results that you want you might as well just give up. Doing a combination of different workouts is the best way to lose your stomach. The importance of not just doing ab exercises is important because those ab exercises are just building the muscles in your stomach. It is not actually burning the fat in your stomach. Even though you might feel pain in your belly after doing thousands of sit ups you are actually not doing what you need to be doing. You need to be doing workouts that are going to make you sweat. Workouts that are going to get all of your joints moving. Those are the types of workouts you are going to need to do in order to lose the belly.
High intensity workouts such as rock climbing, jumping rope, shadow boxing, and the list goes on, are so important for your total body fitness. The faster you can get your heart going the better. Using the elliptical at the gym can be effective if you do it at a high intensity while doing other combinations of workouts that focus on different muscle groups. Those of you who only use the elliptical and try using different methods to workout are going to be shocked at how much your body will ache after switching up your routine. To wrap up, it is important to do a variety of exercises in order to get your body looking they way that you want it. Doing high intensity workouts is the best way to get rid your gut. While it is important to do ab exercises make sure it is not your focus and that you are just doing them sparingly if you have time at the end of a workout session.
